Is it safe to order online?
We use WorldPay to handle all the credit card processing. WorldPay is one of the largest online
payment service providers in the world and is a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland/NatWest.
WorldPay solely handles your card details on their secure server where they run
security checks and obtain card authorization. Syncopation Software, Inc. never has access
to your card details. Once WorldPay notifies Syncopation that payment has been processed, we
dispatch the software to you.

What is your shipping policy?
There are no shipping charges if you choose ESD as your delivery method. If you choose CD or CD+manual, see the information below.
Commercial licenses of DPL ship to destinations within the United States via FedEx. You may choose either FedEx Overnight or FedEx Express Saver. All shipments outside the United States are via FedEx International Priority.
Academic licenses of DPL are delivered via ESD only. If you are interested in purchasing printed manuals,
please visit lulu.com.
Shipping time for FedEx Overnight is next business day by 3 pm to most destinations within the US. International Priority is 1-3 days to most locations outside the US.

What are my delivery options?
All DPL software is delivered electronically via download regardless of the delivery option you choose. The installation file includes soft copies of all documentation.
- ESD (electronic software delivery): you will only receive emails with your license(s) and download instructions. No physical shipment and no shipping charges. The license price is reduced by the manual charge (see below).
- CD: in addition to the ESD emails, you will receive a single installation CD with your licenses. A nominal shipping charge applies but the license price is reduced by the manual charge (see below).
- CD+manual: in addition to the ESD emails, you will receive an installation CD and set of manuals for each license you order. A shipping charge applies.
If you choose CD+manual, DPL comes with printed manuals as follows. The license prices shown on the Order page include the manual charges.
- DPL Standard: a single manual describing the use of the software.
- DPL Professional: the Standard manual plus an additional manual describing the use of the features in DPL Professional.
- DPL Enterprise: both the Standard and Professional manuals plus an additional manual describing the use of the features in DPL Enterprise.
- DPL Portfolio: all three manuals above plus an additional manual describing the use of the features in DPL Portfolio.
If you choose CD or ESD, the per user license prices are reduced as below:
- DPL Standard: $25

What is the price for MTS?
Maintenance and Technical Support (MTS) prices are per license. The amounts for Perpetual licenses are:
- DPL Standard: $195 per year
- DPL Professional: $295 per year
- DPL Enterprise: $395 per year
- DPL Portfolio: $1995 per year
MTS is included in annual licenses.

What about customs?
When ordering goods from Syncopation Software, Inc. for delivery outside the US, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. The prices shown on our website do not include these duties or taxes; any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Syncopation, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

What is your refund policy?
Syncopation Software, Inc. offers a 30 day money back guarantee on all its software products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it to us postage paid with the reason for your dissatisfaction and your license fee will be refunded.

Do I have to pay in US Dollars?
All our software is priced in US Dollars. The local currency equivalent of the US dollar amount will appear on your credit card.

Do I have to pay Sales Tax?
Syncopation Software, Inc. has a presence in Maine and Massachusetts. Orders shipped to either of these states will be charged Maine or Massachusetts sales tax, respectively.

What are your training registration terms?
- In each location, you can register for the full 3-days or for either the methodology or software portion alone.
- The fee is $2,495 for the 3-day seminar; $1,495 for either of the 1½-day portions alone.
- Save $500 on the 3-day seminar or $250 on the 1½-day portions by registering one month in advance.
- Payment must accompany registration.
- Call for group discounts (3 or more attendees).
- Full refund for cancellation 30 days or earlier before the seminar date; 50% 7 to 29 days before the seminar date.
- You may transfer your registration to a colleague at any time.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule; if we do, you will receive a full refund.

DPL Bear Market Special
The prices of commercial licenses of DPL Standard, Professional and Enterprise will change daily during the special. They will be based on a discount calculated from the previous day's close of the S&P 500 index relative to the
retail price of a new, perpetual license of DPL 7 Standard ($995). For example, if the S&P 500 closes at 746, then the discount for the next day is 1 - (746/995) = 25%.
Prices are subject to a $100 minimum.
